Uno Swing per la Vita: Buzzi Unicem Foundation Supporting Cancer Research

The Buzzi Unicem Foundation supported the fourth edition of the initiative “Uno Swing per la Vita – Memorial Rachele Schieroni”, a charitable event organized by the IEO-MONZINO Foundation ETS, held in Milan on May 10, 2025.

The initiative raised €47,000, which will go to two key areas of the European Institute of Oncology: the Fertility and Reproduction in Oncology Unit and the Division for the Development of New Drugs for Innovative Therapies. Both areas are dedicated to translational and clinical research aimed at developing new therapeutic approaches for the benefit of cancer patients.

Supporting initiatives like this aligns with the mission of the Buzzi Unicem Foundation, which is committed to strengthening its role in prevention, care, and innovation in the medical and scientific fields by supporting Italian centers of excellence engaged in applied research.

The event was a heartfelt and meaningful occasion, bringing together sport, solidarity, and science in a collective action of great value.
